Welcome to Lexture. These Terms of Service govern your use of our professional localization services and website. Please read them carefully before engaging our services or using our platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Lexture's website, services, or any related platforms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lexture.
2. Our Services
Lexture provides professional localization services specializing in Ghanaian languages, including but not limited to:
- Transcription: Converting audio and video content into written text.
- Translation: Translating documents and content between English and the Ghanaian languages
- Voiceover: Professional voice recording in multiple Ghanaian languages
- Legal Translation: Certified translation services for legal documents
- Video Transcription: Transcription and subtitling for video content
Service availability, pricing, and delivery timelines are subject to project scope and complexity.
3. Client Obligations
As a client of Lexture, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when requesting quotes or submitting projects
- Ensure you have the necessary rights and permissions for all content submitted to us
- Review and provide feedback on delivered work within the agreed revision period
- Make timely payments in accordance with agreed terms
- Do not use our services for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
Your project documents are accessible only to authorized personnel directly involved in delivering your requested services.
4. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you retain all intellectual property rights to the original content you submit. The completed deliverables (translations, transcriptions, voiceovers) become your property upon final payment.
Lexture retains the right to use anonymized, non-confidential project data for quality improvement, training, and service development purposes only.
All Lexture branding, website content, proprietary tools, and methodologies remain the exclusive property of Lexture.
5. Pricing & Payment
All pricing is provided through formal quotes based on project specifications, including language pair, content type, volume, and turnaround requirements.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
- Payment terms are specified in each project agreement
- Late payments may incur additional fees and delay project delivery
- Prices are quoted in the currency specified and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
6. Confidentiality
We treat all client materials and project content as strictly confidential. All team members and linguists are bound by non-disclosure agreements. We will not share, sell, or distribute your content to any third party except as necessary to deliver the requested services or as required by law.
7. Quality Revisions
We are committed to delivering high-quality work. Our quality assurance process includes:
- Multi-step review by qualified linguists
- Adherence to industry standards and client-specific guidelines
- A revision period of 14 days from delivery for feedback and corrections
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lexture's total liability for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
Lexture shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate a project engagement with written notice. In the event of termination:
- You will be responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date
- Lexture will deliver all completed work and return all client materials
- Confidentiality obligations survive termination
Lexture reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if these terms are violated.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana. Both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation before pursuing legal remedies.
11. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify active clients of material changes.
